The Full Time training program is developed on a 4-year Academic program, after which the student obtains the BSc.ost Hons Osteopathy degree of 240 ECTS. The course to be carried out partly on the Italian territory and partly on the territory of Malta, it is carried out in Italian and English and foresees, starting from the first year, English courses by level with the aim of allowing all the students to reach the level 6.5 IELTS minimum requirement to be able to advance the application for registration in the Professional Register of Malta to be able to practice the profession in all EU countries, including Italy, through the European Directive on the free movement of the Professional (Directive 2013/55).
At the end of the four-year period, the now Osteopathic Professional ICOM will be able to continue with a fifth year in part-time mode and to be held in Italy, of the advanced clinical and practice Osteopathy course with the release of the MSc.Ost title (60 ECTS) by ICOM at Nescot (ICOM headquarters in UK) for a total of 300 ECTS.
The ICOM Full Time course is in line with the European Osteopathy Standard (EN16686) and with the European Framework for Education and Training Standards EFSOET and EFSOP in order to train a competent osteopath professional, demonstrating capacity to carry out specific osteopathic diagnosis and to determine treatment plans that are effective and adequate to the needs of the patients, and in line with the healthcare professional figure they represent.
