OSTEOPATHIC CLINICAL EXPERIENCE THE GREAT ADDED VALUE
A unique and characterizing element of the ICOM clinical path in comparison with all the other companies in the sector, it is a program of clinical practice based on all the years of the course. Already from the first year in addition to clinical practice students also carry out the observational training, which allows them to be able to observe their colleagues over the years on how to approach and relate with patients, acquiring all the information and knowledge that bring the ICOM student to an excellent level of knowledge and clinical experience.
ICOM pays particular attention to Clinical Traineeships, an essential and distinctive part of its teaching method, offering students the opportunity to carry out different types of training, in line with the multidisciplinary nature that characterizes osteopathy.
The centrality of clinical practice is represented by the presence of osteopathic clinics internally at all ICOM study centers where, in some of these, as for the center of Cinisello Balsamo, it is possible to integrate the osteopathic approach to that of traditional medicine given the simultaneous presence also physiotherapy, physiatrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, orthopedics and urology clinics.

HOW IT IS ORGANIZED
The importance of the clinical internship is also highlighted by the same organizational choice that ICOM adopts for each of its study centers realizing the outpatient area with suitable spaces and conforms to the development of the internship and the reception of external users within their own structures. This orientation makes it possible to constantly supervise the work, not only of the staff in his coaching activity, but also the trainees themselves, thus guaranteeing them a path of growth and clinical training of absolute value.
To complete the path of practical growth ICOM constantly creates partnerships with local sports organizations, offering the possibility not only of being able to relate with the medical-rehabilitation staff of the sector, but also of acquiring osteopathic skills in a context with ever greater possibilities for integration and growth .
